At Hope House, we offer various opportunities for you to engage in our important work! We recognize the value of supporting strong families for the overall health of our community. Additionally, volunteering locally can make a significant impact on building strong families.
Whether you need volunteer hours for school or community service, are looking to involve your church group, or want to help families navigate the challenges of pregnancy and parenting, we have multiple opportunities available. Currently, we are seeking individuals to join us as Motherhood Advocates, Fatherhood Advocates, Baby Mall Assistants, and Thrift Shop Volunteers.
As a Motherhood Advocate, you’ll support new mothers during their pregnancy and the first year of parenting. This role involves providing a safe space for moms to share their experiences, offering support as they face challenges, and celebrating their milestones. Additionally, you’ll facilitate classes and help with community events to foster connection among mothers.

We also have the Father for Life program designed for dads. As a Fatherhood Advocate, you’ll engage with fathers during pregnancy appointments, listen to their concerns, and provide encouragement. Many advocates offer ongoing mentorship, assist with parenting classes, and help establish a solid foundation for fatherhood.

In our Baby Mall, parents can earn points through their educational sessions and “shop” for essentials like diapers, wipes, and clothing with the help of our volunteers, who provide guidance and support throughout the process.

Finally, our thrift shop is a valuable community resource. It is known for offering a wide selection of clothing and household items at rock-bottom prices. Proceeds from the shop support essential services at the Women’s Clinic and Parenting Center. We encourage community members of all ages to contribute by sorting and organizing donations.

If you find any of these opportunities appealing, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out to us to get involved. Together, we can make a positive difference for families in our community.
